Charitable Works of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat

Today begins, like many at the Kripalu Charitable Hospital, long before dawn. One by one, a steady stream of villagers arrive from near and far. By daybreak the large crowd of the sick, malnourished and injured are already awaiting admission by the volunteer staff.
In the hospital of Shree Kripalu Mahraj everyone is treated the same.

Step 1 Each person undergoes a thorough medical evaluation from a member of the caring staff of nurses and doctors, skilled in a wide spectrum of medicine – cardiac, pulmonary, gynecological, ophthalmic ear, nose and throat, among others.

Step 2 One of the physicians, volunteering his time and expertise, carefully examines one of the hundreds of patients seeking treatment each day.

Step 3 Technicians and pathologists in the state-of-the-art pathology laboratory provide immediate results for diagnosis of disease and/or requirements during surgery.

Step 4 Following examination and pathological analysis, the patients who require a surgical procedure are attended by a team of skilled surgeons and nurses in one of the well-equipped operating theatres.

Step 5 After surgery and recovery, patients receive an in-depth exam from their doctor and follow-up treatment, as necessary.
Finally, to ensure the patient’s complete recovery, the required medicines are given free of charge at the Hospital pharmacy. After their treatment at the Jagadguru Kripalu Hospital, those who arrived in desperate need return home healed or on their way to recovery.

Through the Divine benevolence of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, at the end of each day, Kripalu Charitable Hospitals have given: health and hope to between 700-1,000 patients; the volunteer medical staff the opportunity to serve those in real need; to people like you, around the world, the opportunity to dramatically improve many lives. This is one day of many. This work continues day after day, month after month, year after year.
